For Fitment Widget Requirement, sellers need to:
Add the Part Terminology ID, AAIA Brand ID and Manufacturer Part Number to the listings
Submit and ACES and PIES file to Walmart
ACES (Aftermarket Catalog Exchange Standard) is a standardized format used to describe automotive parts and their compatibility with specific vehicles. These files include application information such as year, make, model and part types. It also includes things like brand (AAIA Brand ID), Part Number (Manufacturer Part Number) and Part Type (Part Terminology ID).
PIES (Product Information Exchange Standard) is another standardized format used in the automotive industry to provide detailed product information. These files also include information about the product and its attributes as well as information like brand ID, prices, dimension, weight, UPC code, hazardous material information and country of origin.
At the moment, sellers canât send ACES and PIES files through the Seller Center. They have to email them to the Walmart Fitment Team. However, Walmart has recently started a pilot program for platforms like Optiwise.ai that allows ACES and PIES files to be sent in via API.Optiwise.ai is part of the pilot program and has a direct SFTP connection. Hence, enabling sending ACES and PIES in two different ways.
